Final mark = (School mark × 0.7) + (Diploma exam mark × 0.3)

Example: a school mark of 78% and a diploma exam score of 65% gives a final mark of (78 × 0.7) + (65 × 0.3) = 54.6 + 19.5 = 74.1%.

  2. Subtract that from 50
  3. Divide what's left by 0.3

Example: with a 60% school mark you already have 42 points, so about 27% on the exam is enough to pass.
